Dear Penny,
Good morning babe...well today is grandma's funeral, i so wish that i could be there for this special Lady's service...i only have known her for 6 short years but she has brightened my day so many times over those 6 years, it seems like only yesterday we were going to a park in riverdale for homebody's birthday party and your grandma and grandpa pulled up in a blue minivan and grandma was driving, she drove grandpa everywhere and i remember thinking "WOW" how sweet is that? these two old people who have been married all these years, and they are just a cute little team now, just helping each other out in a busy fast paced world and they are not in a hurry to do anything except to love each other a little more than the day before, i remember thinking how cool is this, that after almost 60 yrs they still love each other and grandpa idolizes grandma every minute of everyday...how lucky were your grandma and grandpa are to have had that kind of love that most only dream about? i have so many great positive memories of them both but i think the one that stands out the most is just how grandma would try so hard to be serious and act all hard and try so hard to not smile but when i would start asking her if she got in any trouble and i would tell her to raise a little hell but don't get caught!!! or i would tell her how pretty she looked and ask her who did her hair that day and she would just sit there and glow with pride...i could go on and on but i wont but i know i am a better person for knowing her...MAY YOU REST IN PEACE GRANDMA...I LOVE YOU...thank you penny for telling her the things i ask you too the day she died, have a great day and remember i love you and miss you...
Always and Forever
